Unlike the artificial 3G pitches or astro turf pitches which are infilled with rubber crumb, our products are non infill grasses. When installing we top dress our artificial grass with a special engineered sand (except when installing indoors).

So why do we top dress with sand?

• The sand weighs down the artificial grass so that its stays in place.
• It helps avoid wrinkles & folds from appearing due to heat or use.
• It helps the resilence of the blades keeping them upright
• It makes the grass more fire resistent (this is particilar important when installing in beer gardens)
• Your artificial grass will look better & last longer!!
